Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Review Handled — how it works, what it costs, and what to expect.

About the Service
How do you know when a new review comes in?
+
We keep a close eye on your Google Business Profile so every new review gets caught as soon as it is posted. You don't need to notify us or do anything on your end. We're already watching.
How quickly will you respond to a review?
+
All responses are delivered within 1 to 2 business days of a review being posted.
Are your responses personalized or do you use templates?
+
Every response is written individually for that specific review. We never use copy-paste templates or generic replies. Each one is crafted to reflect the actual content of the review and your company's voice.
Will the responses sound like they came from us?
+
Yes. Before we get started we take time to understand your company's tone and brand voice so every response feels like it came from your team. Professional, consistent, and on-brand.
What if we don't like a response?
+
Just reach out and let us know. We'll revise it right away at no charge. Your satisfaction with every response matters to us.
Do you respond to every review or just negative ones?
+
Every review, positive, negative, and everything in between. Responding to positive reviews builds goodwill with your clients and signals to Google that your profile is active, which can help with your local search visibility.
What if a review looks fake or like it came from a competitor?
+
We'll respond to it professionally in the meantime while you go through Google's process to report and request removal. We can also point you in the right direction on how to flag it.
Will you be posting the responses directly to our Google profile?
+
Yes. Once you grant us Manager access we handle posting directly so nothing requires action on your end.
What do you need from us to get started?
+
Just two things. Manager access to your Google Business Profile and your Stripe subscription. We handle everything else from there.
Do you handle reviews on other platforms like Yelp or Apartments.com?
+
Right now we focus specifically on Google reviews. If demand grows for other platforms we may expand down the road.
About Access and Security
I'm not comfortable giving someone access to my Google account. How does this work?
+
That's a completely fair concern and it's exactly why Google built the Manager permission level. You're not giving us access to your Google account. You're adding us as a Manager on your Google Business Profile only. We have no access to your Gmail, Google Ads, billing information, or anything else tied to your Google account.
What can a Manager actually do?
+
As a Manager we can respond to reviews and make basic profile updates like hours and photos. We cannot add or remove users, transfer ownership, delete your listing, or touch any account or payment information.
What happens to the responses if we remove your access?
+
Every response we've posted stays on your profile permanently. Removing our access has no effect on any of the work already done.
How do we remove your access if we want to?
+
Go to business.google.com, click the three dots in the top right corner, select Business Profile settings, click People and access, find our email, and click Remove. It takes under a minute and is effective immediately.
Is my Google account safe?
+
Yes. Manager access was designed specifically so business owners can safely hand off certain tasks without giving up control of their account. You stay the Owner at all times and can remove us whenever you want.
About Pricing and Billing
How does billing work?
+
Your $49 per month base subscription is billed automatically through Stripe on the same date each month. If you get more than 5 reviews in a given month, additional responses are billed at $10 each at the end of that month.
Is there a maximum I could be charged in a month?
+
Yes. Your total monthly charge will never go above $149 no matter how many reviews come in. That's the ceiling, full stop.
What if we only get 2 reviews one month?
+
The $49 base rate still applies. Think of it like having us on retainer. Your account is being monitored and managed every day regardless of volume.
Is there a setup fee?
+
No setup fee at all. You pay $49 per month and nothing else unless your review volume goes over 5 in a month.
What is the Review Response Cleanup add-on?
+
It's a one-time service where we go back and write responses to your 20 most recent and most critical unanswered reviews. It gets your profile looking active and professionally managed right away instead of starting from scratch. It's a $200 value for a flat one-time fee of $79.
What payment methods do you accept?
+
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe.
About Cancellation and Commitment
Is there a contract?
+
No contracts and no commitments. It's month to month, simple as that.
How do we cancel?
+
Send us an email at hello@reviewhandled.com and we'll take care of it right away. No complicated process, no hoops to jump through.
What happens to our responses if we cancel?
+
Everything we've posted stays on your Google profile. You keep all of it.
Can we pause the service instead of canceling?
+
That's something we're happy to work out on a case by case basis. Just reach out and we'll figure something out.
About Results and Credibility
How will this actually help our reputation?
+
When every review gets a thoughtful response, it shows both Google and potential clients that your business is attentive and well-run. Research shows that companies responding to every review see up to 18% higher revenue than those that don't. For property management companies specifically, both prospective tenants and property owners look at your reviews before they ever pick up the phone.
Can you guarantee our rating will improve?
+
We can't control what people write or what stars they leave. Nobody can. What we can do is make sure every review gets a professional, genuine response, and research consistently shows that doing so improves trust, engagement, and the likelihood that someone chooses your business.
Why should we use you instead of just doing it ourselves?
+
You absolutely could handle it yourselves. The honest reality is that it rarely gets done consistently because it's time-consuming and easy to push aside when you're busy running properties. Consistency is the whole key. We make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Who actually writes the responses?
+
Every response is personally written by our founder. You won't be handed off to someone else or dealing with a rotating team.
Do you manage multiple locations?
+
Yes. If you have multiple properties or locations with separate Google Business Profiles we can work out a custom arrangement to cover all of them.
What if we get a review that contains a legal threat?
+
We'll flag it to you immediately and hold off on responding until you've had a chance to review it with your legal counsel. Some situations need to be handled carefully before anything goes public.
How do we reach you once we're a client?
+
Email us at hello@reviewhandled.com any time. We aim to get back to all client messages within one business day.
